Start with operating doors
Door cams and locking rods should close fully without improvised force. Binding or damaged doors can prevent the lock from seating correctly.
Protect the lock
A lockbox can shield compatible padlock hardware from direct attack. Discuss the hardware and installation before modifying a leased unit.
Use layers around the container
Lighting, cameras, fences, controlled gates, inventory procedures and frequent checks reduce dependence on one lock. High-value contents may require an insurer-approved plan.
Combine container hardware with the site-level options on the fencing page and choose a position using the placement guide.
