Place it for the next phase, not just today
Excavation, paving, cranes, trailers and material staging can close an access lane quickly. Coordinate the container with the site logistics plan and protect the truck route. If the work also needs a controlled perimeter, plan the storage position with temporary or permanent site fencing instead of solving the two layouts separately.
Build an inside workflow
Use shelves, bins, lighting and a clear center aisle. Heavy items belong low, frequently issued material belongs near the door and fuel or regulated material needs appropriate separate handling.
Lease duration should follow the schedule
Leasing a shipping container can fit phased work, but confirm extensions and pickup notice so the box is not stranded behind completed work.
- Phase-by-phase site access
- Tool and material organization
- Security and key control
- Pickup notice and clear exit route
