Test before loading sensitive goods
Close the doors in daylight and look for pinholes, damaged seams and gasket gaps. Inspect roof patches and the lower door area where debris can prevent a seal.
External leaks are not condensation
Moisture on interior steel can come from humid air even when rain never entered. Use the condensation guide to separate the causes.
Placement supports weather resistance
Move runoff away, keep the container level enough for doors and seals to meet, and avoid burying lower rails in wet vegetation or soil.
Condition matters, so also review used-container inspection and the meaning of wind and watertight.
- Roof and seam inspection
- Door gasket condition
