Temporary storage still needs proper support
Setting a container directly in soft soil invites settlement and moisture problems. Even a short-term lease benefits from a firm surface and level blocking approved for the load.
Permanent work needs a designed solution
Stacking, occupancy, large openings, utilities or high-wind exposure can require engineering and anchoring. Coordinate the foundation with the container and modification plan.
Recheck after placement
Open and close the doors before the driver leaves. Binding doors can signal that the container is not sitting evenly and the supports need adjustment.
Combine the support plan with the site-preparation checklist and the truck-access requirements.
- Bearing at structural corners
- Firm and drained surface
- Level support that prevents frame twist
- Engineering for permanent or modified use
